Thank you so much for this. I had to reformat my laptop after 2 days of owning it because of a Vista update. Needless to say I lost the software installed for the built in webcam and for some reason it wasn’t on the recovery disk. I have been looking for software to do exactly this. So, Thank you!

My webcam blanks out when using msn but does not when using yahoo and its really dark
