Is there any way to create effects between the photos, transitions are OK, but I find that Photo Story really limits the amount of creativity available, although it is easy to use.

The big advantages of PhotoStory are that it is easy to use and free.
If you want more control, more effects, use something like Sony Movie Studio.

I downloaded this program and within a couple hours had a really spiffy little music video with gorgeous flower photographs. Much more interesting than music alone. Thanks!

how do you upload a photostory to youtube ? because i have uploaded 1 but when i search for it, it wont show up and wen i go on my videos to watch it, it says video it not availably…??? whyyy

Publish the photostory as .wmv format, and upload the .wmv video to YouTube.

i used the encoder thingy but it only converts sound files not the actual video. my photo story is a wp3 and youtube wont accept it, what should i do?

Upload the .wmv file, not the wp3 file.

Select the image, click on ‘customize motion’, under duration, change the number of seconds you want the image to appear

to upload to youtube:
-create an account
-select upload
-upload the file
-choose title,description etc.
to upload to facebook
-create an acoount
-download the file to your account

Great video, but can you tell me how to burn the story onto a dvd? I am using a sonic burner and it does not want to accept the wmv file.
